Developed with BSL teachers from across the UK, the BSL Homework helps your learners practice what they have been taught in the classroom or prepare for an upcoming assessment. It has over 500 short stories in BSL, clips and questions to test your learners, and filmed assessment examples and tips. The BSL Homework also comes with a BSL Homework dictionary of over 1,100 signs.
Added 26 Oct 2009Our newly launched online BSL Homework package is now available for centres, teachers and learners of Signature Level 1 Award in British Sign Language and Level 2 Certificate in British Sign Language. Added 16 Oct 2009Signature have been working closely with NHS Education for Scotland (NES), Deafblind Scotland and Commtacs to develop training for frontline NHS staff across Scotland. This training will consist of basic BSL skills and Deaf and deafblind awareness and will be aimed at those who have regular contact with patients and service users.
Added 06 Oct 2009ITV is launching a unique online collection of animated nursery rhymes created especially for deaf children, to celebrate this year's Children's Book Week (5-11 October). Eleven new versions of traditional rhymes - created by young North East animators mentored by Bob The Builder creator Curtis Jobling - will feature on ITV's awardwinning website www.signedstories.com.
